The Chaplain Connection is a network website established by the All Saints Chaplaincy Academy of Hempstead, New York.  The Reverend Dr. Milton E. Rochford is the CEO.  Our purpose is to introduce to persons who may not be aware of the myriad of extraordinary human and ministerial services provided by dedicated, compassionate, professional chaplains and para-chaplains.

Most chaplain activities and functions are executed in institutional or military settings and are therefore unobserved by the faith based community as a whole of others in the public domain.  Chaplains, for the most part, are indeed “Unsung Heroes.”  They have a peculiar relationship with their congregants or cliental which is guarded by strict policies of confidentiality.

My hope is that the Chaplain Connection website will reveal the significant role of chaplains in various settings.  Chaplains intersect and partner with public and private sectors, religious and secular organizations and governmental agencies.  They care for the sick and incarcerated and perform sacred ministerial and family functions.  Chaplains also provide crises intervention counseling, advocacy and liaison referrals.
